An innovative approach to bat house design, The Hand-wing Habitat provides a safe refuge for endangered bat species with a balance of form and function. Made from natural materials with long-lasting, environmentally friendly wood finishes. Featuring a large roosting chamber with 16 interconnected roosts, a secure entry way and landing pad, all sheltered under a insulated steel roof. Our triangular design focuses on thermal stability while offering a range of internal temperatures for comfortable roosting throughout the day.

To make a bat house that would improve on the functionality and aesthetics of traditional D.I.Y. “bat-boxes”. I wanted to create a sculptural design to decorate your outdoor space, while still providing sustainable habitat for at risk bat species.
